Danish neoclassical sauce ladle from 1812

Price: 3,900.- DKK per item

Length 19 cm.

Stamped with Copenhagen's 3-towers for the silver purity of 830S, F for Fredrik Fabritius who was city guard 1787 - 1823, CC under a crown for the silversmith and an indistinct monthly mark.

The sauce spoon is with a smooth and hollow handle and nice ladle part with a folded edge and a fine hammered joint.
It is polished, ie without the hammered surface.

We have not been able to find the markers marks anywhere, but the crown suggests that he was a Huguenot of the Jerome line. Two other silversmiths with this family name used the same crown.

It is in perfect condition.
