Wine glass with oak leaves

Price: 600.- DKK per item

Height 10.3 cm.

Beautifully decorated wineglass form the late 1800s.
Its very much like "Glass No. 1" from Holmegaard glassworks.

The glass appears in the catalog of the factory from 1853 and is described as being sold both undecorated and with a floral cut which may be an oak leave decor.

The cut is very much like Holmegaard's classic version with alternating two acorns up and two acorns down and leaves. But this differs with having shiny acorns and not mat ones.
The shape of the glass differs a bit by the foot, its a bit angular and not rounded, like danish glasses normalle are from the periode of time.

The glass is with a distinctly sharp pontil and is in nice condition.
