Rare tulip glass from Holmegaard

Height 9.5 cm.
Tulip glass is first seen in Holmegaard Glasværk's catalog from 1867 and where it is offered for the last time in the catalog from 1915.

They are offered in at least six colors and with gilded decoration, which was offered at double the price, of which these are very rare today.

This glass is emerald green and painted with wine leaves in gold as well as lines in gold.

The glass is mouth-blown and with a polished pontil underneath, though with remnants of its snapped pontil.

The glass have had a part of the foot broken off, but this is glued on again.
It has a little wear on the gold edge at the top.
