Coffee cup from Aluminia with Greek inspired motifs.

The cup is decorated with lur blowers, man with shields and spears and a rider.
The saucer is with Greek amphora vase, rider in uniform and woman playing lyre.
The motifs originate from Bertel Thorvaldsen's Alexander frieze from 1812. This was commissioned to decorate Napoleon's imperial residence in Rome.

The cup is in good condition, despite its age. There is a bit of wear on the rider on the saucer.

Saucer is included in the price.
