Unusual vase shaped like a thorny branch from a rose bush.
The vase is from the 1880s and mouth blown in red / orange glass, with white thorns pointing to the end of the vase. It has a nice green attached foot.

The vase is not found in a Danish glass catalog, but Aarhus Glasworks has made a vase of the same style, called the Alliance vase. Not much is known about Aarhus Glassworks since most of there catalogues are lost and they only existed for 29 years.
A series of bohemian glass factories produces a series of vases in thise, rather unusual style, at the end of the 1900 century.
