Oak leave glass is firstly mentioned Holmegaard's catalog from 1853, but are here called flower decorated. But they have been in production from around 1830.

Of all Danish glassworks, Holmegaard offers the largest selection of goods with oak leaves. Four snaps glasses, six cups or glasses with and without handle and five wine glasses.

This glass is model No. 2, which is characterized by the cylindrical cuppa.
The cut is Holmegaard's classic version with alternating two acorns up and two acorns down, replaced by leaves.

The glass is blown mouth and the cut is underneath. The glass is in good condition.
